Not always B&W in fact its more grey

Beautiful Girl + B&W + Naked = Art

Whenever you take picures of a model you need to aware of her dimensons and how they best suit the camera.

It also needs to be 45mins per shoot.

The Swan in Notting Hill Carnival

Notting Hill Carnival on a really nice sunny afternoon, and a great day for shooting.

I had just got my polariser filter so i was testing it in the really bright light of the day.

ISO 100/ 1/160 /85mm/ f 8.0

Most moving objects stop dead at 1/250 unless they are already moving really really and i mean really fast  so it was easy to use 1/160 for this image ans still have enough depth of field for the clarity.

Bhav – Not so air Guitar

I loved playing with the blacks on this  picture I just increased them in this image until there was no visible background left.

It almost feels like it was shot in a studio but only the natural lighting was used.

17mm/ Iso 320/ 1/60 / f 4.0  .

Stage Perspective

I got a pretty good angle on the stage with this shot I was told by the security that i wasn’t allowed to take pictures but sometimes you need to break the rules and i was glad i did, I got the shot.

It give s good view of the stage and an excellent depth of field view crowd, artists, lights and screen.

17mm / f4.0/ Iso 1600/ 1/50

I had to have the steadiest hand ever to take the shot as my ISO was pushed to the limit but it was worth it

Fashion in the Dark

This was a pretty difficult day or evening of shooting as the lighting guy was crazy. I had this on a particularly high iso level and a reasonably high shutter speed.

Party Hard – Gradient

Another from the party hard promo pictures, I used a very    simple gradient to give some drama to the picture then added a    light source.
